CAREER
Amanda began working as a real estate agent in 2003 with Re/Max, and quickly accomplished the status of agent of the month, and was inaugurated into the Million Dollar Club. Her extensive experience includes working with builders, real estate investment, commercial and general sales. Amanda is an entrepreneur at heart, and in 2007 she earned her broker’s license and began Charlesworth Realty Group. Her company opened the doors with 2 agents and has grown to over 40. In 2010 Charlesworth Realty opened operations in Tennessee and in 2011 opened in Florida.Amanda has also been quoted by the Atlanta Journal and Constitution and featured in Skirt Magazine for her expertise in the Atlanta real estate market. She has also been the featured guest on local radio shows.
GEORGIA REAL ESTATE INVESTORS ASSOCIATION INVOLVEMENT
In 2009 Amanda became the GAREIA Director of Business Associates. In addition to this post, Amanda is an active BA, and sponsors a booth at every General meeting. It is her overall goal to promote GAREIA, and encourage others to become GAREIA BA’s and sponsors. She is a regular speaker at Deal Makers and the Landlord education network meetings. In 2010 Amanda became Vice President of GaREIA facilitating two of the largest changes GaREIA has ever experienced moving their monthly General Member Meeting location and moving the headquarters, all within a matter of months. In 2011 Amanda became the youngest president in GaREIA’s 30 year history.
MEMBERSHIP AND CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Amanda is a recent graduate of the Atlanta Board of Realtors Leadership Development Program. As a student at the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga, she volunteered as a Court Liaison for the Women and Children’s Violence Center. In her spare time, Amanda is an active teacher with Junior Achievement, a national foundation dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

Shirley has been actively investing in real estate since 2007 when she also became a licensed Realtor. The Rich Dad series by Robert Kiyosaki started her on her journey. One of her first live seminars was delivered by John Adams, the local Real Estate Investor “guru” and one of the GaREIA founders. Shirley works full time as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and specializes in Short Sales and distresses properties – personally investing as well as helping others buy or sell. She has been an active member of GaREIA since 2007 and is now serving on the board of directors in the position of Treasurer. Her hobbies are attending seminars, learning about real estate and working on her real estate investing business. She currently has full or part ownership in six properties and is actively working to add to this number. Shirley has a BS degree from the University of Kentucky, completed a Dietetic Internship at Emory University and holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix online campus. She is an active member of the Johns Creek North Fulton Rotary Club, the Johns Creek Christian Church and serves as a citizen member of the Ocmulgee Basin Advisory Board of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District
