The office closes on the second Monday of each month at 12:00 pm to prepare for the General Meeting. The phones will not be answered after that time.

The monthly General Meeting is held on the second Monday of the month at the Atlanta Unity Church. Doors open at 4:00 pm and meeting ends around 9:00 pm. Members attend free with membership card for entry and guest fee is $25.

History of GaREIA

GaREIA began in 1981 in Atlanta. The association was incorporated as a non-profit Georgia Corporation in 1986, and is now listed as a not-for-profit 501 (6) trade association. GaREIA is one of the longest running real estate investors association in the United States. Members come from a wide range of backgrounds but with a common interest in real estate investing. The Association’s success depends upon the members and the dedication of its volunteers.

GaREIA Organizational Structure

GaREIA is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors, made up of members of the Association, annually elected by the membership. The main purpose of the Board of Directors is to direct the Association, maintaining the goals and objectives as the governing body. The board, a highly active and organized group with committees of additional volunteers, maintains the Vision and Mission of the Association.

GaREIA Headquarters

GaREIA’s Headquarters is a business resource center that provides members with a central location to meet other investors, attend seminars and Subgroups, and perform computerized property research and analysis. A lending library, stocked with books and tapes relating to real estate and motivational topics, is available to members. A bookstore offers many items for sale that are useful to real estate investors. Seminars, Subgroups and other meetings are held at Headquarters throughout the month. Conference rooms are available for members to reserve.
